CoreLearning delivers content using a structured, hierarchical approach, as depicted in the image below. While CoreLearning comes preconfigured with around 40 individual Libraries and approximately 170 Learning Paths, a CoreLearning administrator can modify the baseline configuration so that it fits the unique learning needs of their organization.
- UI Group - The UI Group is the top of the hierarchy and is typically used to group learning content into
- Library – A Library consists of one or more Learning Paths.
- Learning Path - Is a collection of Assets that together are intended to deliver knowledge to the consumer on a specific topic. Most often, Learning Paths are designed bundle Assets together to achieve a targeted learning goal.
- Asset - An Asset is content in CoreLearning that is either include with the subscription itself or which has been uploaded by the customer. While Assets are most generally videos, they can also be audio files or, as in the case of this article, a PDF document.
