This article describes what is included in the My Profile page. It also provides guidance on logging in to the CoreView platform.

Understand how to check you CoreView account details and the permissions and delegation assigned to it.  


My profile  

You can access the ‘My profile’ section, opening the menu from the top right profile icon. 

 

 

The ‘My profile’ section includes 4 tabs: Personal Information, Virtual Tenants, Permissions and License Pools.

  • Personal information: From this tab you can modify your language and regional settings. You can also check what are the roles assigned to your account. Inherited group roles are roles that are assigned to you through a group membership.  
  • Virtual-Tenants: You can check which Virtual-Tenant(s) you have access to. CoreView Virtual-Tenants are a subset of users and groups that tenant administrator have delegated to you to manage. You can click on a Virtual-Tenant to visualize its settings in read-only mode.  
  • Permissions: You can check which permissions you have been granted by a tenant administrator. Permissions applied to your user determine the sections of CoreView you are allowed to see and the actions you can execute. You can click on a permission to visualize its settings in read-only mode.  
  • License pools: You can review the License pools you manage. License pools are subsets of users you can manage license for. A license pool has also a determined number of Microsoft licenses that can be used by its delegated operators. You can click on a license pool to visualize its settings in read-only mode. 

Notes: 

The settings of any V-tenant, Permission group, License Pool can be changed only by CoreView Tenant administrator.

If the 'Use organization account' option was chosen, then it means that the single sign-on is applied during login, and the operator must log into CoreView portal using first login option (work/school account), then, inserting Office 365 credentials. In this case security is provided by Microsoft, and we cannot help if you need to change the password. If this option is not selected, then the operator must log into CoreView portal using the second login option: email and password sent to him by email. In case of email option, the security is provided by CoreView, so 'Forgot Password' option can be used.
